Responsibilities:

• Management of LOTUS investment project at KL Qingpu site through all phases, from the FEED design to the handover to the owner.
• Internal and external interface and stakeholder management.
• Create and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including but not limited to the documents related to project report, pecification, design, permits, budgetary documents, construction, manufacture, installation, commissioning and hand-over etc.
• Preparation and execution of project and status presentations in all project phases.
• Assistant on deviation and risk management for project goal, time and cost planning.
• Assistant on planning, compiling and managing project budget. Report on ongoing project costs.
• Work closely with global engineering team to assess and translate the needs from process, production and other related functions into specifications, designs. Oversee product blueprint design.
• Participant in the supplier and contractor selection, negotiation of contracts.
• Perform checks and inspections throughout all stages of the project implement to ensure high quality, and budgets are kept, deadlines are met.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Signing documents within the scope of LOTUS project in accordance with the requirements and the local regulations.
• Technical management of the project staff temporarily assigned to the project. Define the need for project resources, organize the provision of the resources and work closely with the superiors of the project staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, process equipment engineering, process engineering, architectural engineering or a related field.
• Min 8 years’ experience in mechanical, engineering in the petroleum or chemical industry; Familiar with structure, electrical & Instrument, plumbing, HVAC system. Constructor certificate is preferred.
• Skilled use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software. Familiar with Microsoft Project software is preferred.
• Project management experience. Adept at spotting potential problems and finding appropriate solutions.
• Knowing equipment safety systems and processes. Knowledge in PSM (Process Safety Management) is preferred.
• Have an eye for good and state-of-the-art design.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic problem-solvers with strong attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong team spirit and coordination skill.
• Good communication skill.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Be willing to travel or relocate.
• Good command of English – oral and written.
