About the role

We're seeking an Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team at Scentium (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. As a full-time position based in Kota Kemuning, Selangor, this role will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping support to our growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing of accounts process.
• Monitoring cash flows & ensure payments made on timely basis.
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed.
• E-invoicing knowledge and submission.
• Ensure intercompany balances are accurate and eliminate mismatches.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures.
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the superior & Management from time to time

What we're looking for

• Diploma / Degree or professional in accounting or relevant qualification.
• At least 5 years working experience in accounting or finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge in current accounting principles and guidelines.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (SAP would be an added advantage) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Office, Outlook, Power Point)
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficient in Mandarin would be an added point.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and cooperate with others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
