How you'll Help us Connect the World

CommScope seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer oriented to RF electronics reporting into the AT hardware sustaining engineering. Strong grasp of hardware issues related RF products used into the HFC network that includes RF, optical, and digital circuitries. The position will require hands on characterization and debugging as well. This role is based in the Monterrey/Apodaca area.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

Support AT programs for product performance and cost improvements as well as factory and materials issues resolution.

Work with cross functional engineering teams such as mechanical, PCB designers, reliability, manufacturing and test engineers.

Responsible for end-to-end of mid complexity projects implementation that may require prototype characterization, design optimization and design verification testing.

Responsible for generating technical presentations with professional quality and clearly organized, get them presented in a technical review sessions.

Responsible for product documentation maintenance and release such as schematics, Bills of Material (BOMs) and product specifications.

RF components characterization of such as RF amplifiers, filters, splitters, magnetics, and others related.

Experience in LAB measurements by using network and spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, multimeters, and related equipment

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or telecommunication related area.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as minimum in a similar position.
  • Basic knowledge of Radio Frequency design
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent teamwork attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of Radio Frequency design.
  • Able to travel to the U.S. (visa).
