Summary:
- Support the planning, implementation, integration, and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS systems.
- Ensure full system functionality by developing test strategies, executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and validating system performance.
- Plan, execute, document, and maintain integration and test solutions for components, subsystems, and systems
- Translate customer requirements into test strategies, balancing cost, schedule, and technical constraints
- Solve hardware/software interface issues, define input/output parameters, and ensure seamless system integration
- Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Coordinate and conduct subsystem/system-level testing
- Analyze test results, prepare evaluation reports, and verify system performance
- Write discrepancy reports and conduct integration regression testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Active secret clearance required to start position.
- 9+ years of professional experience in a related role
- Expertise in RF or Microwave systems and test environments
- Success in developing complex test programs using NI LabVIEW/TestStand
- Experience specifying components for test equipment design
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and instrumentation
- Skilled in creating diagrams, parts lists, and engineering documentation
- Knowledge of Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA) processes
- Experience deriving test requirements from system-level specifications
- Ability to resolve hardware/documentation discrepancies
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration
- Effective communicator with experience presenting technical findings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reports, plans, and documentation
- Experience with LabVIEW and/or TestStand software (writing, editing, and maintaining code)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
