Billing Assistant (6-month, part-time contract)

For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Billing Assistant role.

Contract

6-month contract of employment, 0,5 FTE (20h a week)

Your role

  • Assist Billing Team in admin tasks required for smooth process delivery to guarantee accuracy and completeness of billing related documentation
  • Filing billing paperwork, produce PDF invoice documentation pack
  • For audit purposes maintain invoice submission evidence records and follow up with stakeholders for missing delivery proof
  • Maintain Credit Control generic mailbox
  • New process transition from Local Office to LSDC Finance, including knowledge transfer, preparation of end to end process documentation
  • Smooth process execution post go live date, in line with agreed deliverables
  • Maintain up to date LSDC Finance SOPs to reflect Local Office requirements
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure consistent quality of work
  • Be responsible for assigned KPI’s to meet internal customer needs
  • Participate in regular process reviews with Local Finance Team
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with the Solicitors Accounting Rules

Your experience

  • Professional experience in a similar role preferably within SSC/BPO sector as well as practical experience in SAP would be a value added
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Customer focused and service oriented
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently with tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong teamwork ethic, communication skills and respect for confidentiality
  • University degree in finance or professional accounting course would be an asset
