Position Summary:
The Dispatcher/Public Safety Officer II is responsible for providing advanced security services to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors. This role involves mentoring junior officers, coordinating emergency responses, and implementing security protocols. The role plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure and safe environment within the healthcare facility. Ensures no one enters the hospital with any weapons or other unpermitted objects that would potentially cause a safety issue within out hospital.
Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Additional training or education in criminal justice, public safety or a related field is preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $22.41/hour - Maximum $36.98/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
