Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be responsible for assembling metal-clad equipment and other power distribution equipment by installing components, units, and subassemblies according to job specifications. You will read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instructions. Your role will include adjusting, repairing, or replacing electrical components/parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications. Additionally, you will set up and maintain a clean and safe working environment and understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Work shifts are Monday to Thursday, with 1st shift from 5:30am-3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm-1:30am. Optional overtime may be available on Fridays. The work environment is clean and quiet, providing a conducive space for productivity. You will work independently on different sections of builds within a facility that supports large-scale electrical system projects.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
