Job Summary:

The IT Project Manager reports to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for planning, coordinating, contributing, and executing a wide range of strategic, operational, departmental, and technical projects across the organization,. This role blends systems knowledge, functional analysis, and cross-team collaboration to support the successful execution of both strategic and operational projects. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and project leadership skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work directly with stakeholders to deliver value through technology. This position adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations. Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and communications; monitor progress and proactively manage issues and risks.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of cross-functional projects, including scope definition, budgets, milestone planning, stakeholder coordination, progress tracking, resource alignment, and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a functional contributor on projects involving system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and process improvements across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, identify solutions, and contribute to testing and rollout of new processes or tools.
  • Assist in business intelligence (BI) reporting efforts by gathering data needs, creating simple dashboards, and coordinating with internal and external teams on advanced reporting requirements.
  • Support configuration, testing, and user training for new system features or deployments.
  • Create clear documentation such as SOPs, training guides, system workflows, and project summaries.
  • Contribute to end-user adoption by helping design and deliver training, communications, and support materials.
  • Engage with external vendors to clarify requirements, coordinate development activities, and track deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates to IT and executive leadership on project status, risks, KPIs, and strategic impacts.
  • Support change management and implementation planning to ensure new systems or processes are embedded effectively.
  • Analyze and document current-state workflows and recommend improvements that align with business and technology goals.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with IT and business leadership to identify and assess upcoming initiatives.
  • Track project-related KPIs and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and support performance reporting to leadership.
  • Help maintain internal documentation libraries to ensure version control and accessibility of project and system assets.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Minimum of Associate's degree (or 3 years relevant work experience), Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or systems implementation roles-preferably in healthcare
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects using structured project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, MS Project, Monday.com, Jira
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on tasks and timelines
  • Comfortable balancing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel on an as-needed basis (less than 10% expected)
