The Role

This position will develop and/or lead strategic projects at enterprise level or across Technology & Manufacturing (T&M) Functional Units (FUs), aligning with Corporate Strategic Plan (CSP)/CMC, Supply & Manufacturing strategy and its value proposition. This role will also develop and operate an appropriate governance structure and tiered metrics across T&M FUs and over hierarchy to efficiently and effectively monitor the progress of transformation, strategy implementation, and daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with T&M senior/executive leaders to identify their needs and expectations (e.g., governance, process management, CMC modality strategy, strategic investment etc) on what new initiatives should be planned and implemented for impactful transformation
• Develop and lead strategic projects/initiatives (e.g., Tier management across T&M) at enterprise level or across T&M FUs autonomously
• Work with T&M senior/executive leaders to develop and operate what kind of metrics should be implemented at each FU and layers as a tier management mechanism
• Work with T&M senior/executive leaders to design and manage governance (e.g., meeting cadence) and operating model to efficiently & effectively implement tier management mechanism across T&M FUs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the relevant strategy for entire T&M functions in alignment with CSP, CMC, Supply & Manufacturing strategy and its value proposition
• Support communication between CMfgO and CoS to CMfgO over time-difference where appropriate
• Work with FUH to assist the FU which is assigned as a conduit to CMfgOO
• Assist Chief of Staff to CMfgO with other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent degree with 5+ years or MS Degree with 8+yrs or BS/BA or equivalent degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or working in a global communication role
• Experience in implementing tier management mechanism, environmental analysis for strategic planning, financial control, development of business cases, and digital technology (e.g., Gen-AI, machine learning, robotics etc) implementation for more than 3 years
• Experience of large scale project/program management (e.g., PMI, M&A, Cross functional project at enterprise level, digital technology implementation with business process transformation, and any other transformative projects etc) with effective change management for more than 3 years
• Experience in KPI/KGI management and data management
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work openly & collaboratively
• Fluency in English language (read, write, speak)

Salary Range: $170,450 - $243,500 (NOTE: Final salary could be more or less, based on experience)
