This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Business/Market Intelligence Intern in Eindhoven with Signify.

Grow with the pros in this strategic business intelligence internship. Develop yourself with this internship in business intelligence and strategic marketing where you will leverage data analytics to enhance decision-making processes and drive business growth. Philips Horticulture LED Solutions and Fluence LED lighting solutions create LED lights to grow a variety of crops; either in greenhouses or in vertical farm environments www.philips.com/horti / https://fluence-led.com/. Both are part of Signify’s agriculture business unit. Grow lights bring additional yield, quality and predictability to the grower’s crop. We are always looking for ways to further professionalize our way of working

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business metrics and the tools used such as SAP Cloud for customer (C4C) and translate them into technical requirements for reporting and data validation.
• Build multi-year database of Philips Horticulture LED solutions and Fluence LED sales results per segment, crop, country, and customer.
• Extend upon bottom-up greenhouse grower databases per country per segment and check possibilities to integrate with C4C.
• Visualisation of database results for both technical and non-technical team members.
• Translate data into targeted analyses, providing insights and recommendations to critical organizational stakeholders that lead to actionable business decisions.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

• Preferably studying business intelligence, data science, applied mathematics, digital technology engineering or a related field
• Affinity and experience with building databases for business insights
• Strong data management and excel /database and database visualisation skills (such as Power BI, Tableau, ...)
• Analytical, problem-solving skills and detail oriented
• Capable of building relationships with cross-functional teams
• Highly organized, proactive, and friendly team player
• Fluent in English and working knowledge of Dutch
• Interest or affinity with the horticulture (greenhouse) industry
