Your role

Are you passionate about real-time data and eager to gain hands-on experience in product management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact platform scalability and performance?

We’re looking for an Intern to join our Nucleus Data streaming team as part of the Product Management function to:

• assist with onboarding new data producers and consumers to the streaming platform, ensuring a seamless integration experience
• support internal users by addressing product and operational queries related to data pipelines, Kafka topics, and schema evolution
• maintain and update platform documentation, onboarding trackers, and usage dashboards
• collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to identify and implement improvements in platform usability and reliability
• contribute to the development of training materials and best practices for streaming data use cases
• participate in team meetings and provide insights and feedback on platform performance, user needs, and roadmap priorities

Your team

You’ll be joining the Nucleus Data streaming team. Our mission is to empower UBS teams with a robust, scalable, and secure data streaming infrastructure. We provide a self-service platform built on Apache Kafka and other modern technologies—including Flink and Elastic—enabling real-time data movement across the enterprise.

Our platform is a critical enabler of advanced analytics and AI-powered solutions, helping teams unlock insights and drive intelligent automation across the organization.

Your expertise

• currently pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• strong interest in data and product management
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
