Technical Lead - Electrical Design Engineer
Primary Purpose of the Role
Thales India Engineering Competency Center in Bangalore is seeking a Lead Engineer role to be part of Hardware engineering team in Electrical engineering discipline. In this role you will be responsible for designing Electro-mechanical sub-assembly and parts for SONAR and other marine Defense products to meet the customer requirements as well as governing regulatory standards (UL, CE, MIL-STD, SEMILAC etc.).
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in electrical design or equivalent with 8 to 12 Years of Experience in the area of marine products, mechanical winches, heavy engineering products, test benches etc.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
In this role, you are also responsible for interfacing with, system architecture and manufacturing teams for achieving the detailed electrical design of the product. You are responsible for performing design calculations to justify the design, selection of COTS items, electrical design, and simulation before finalizing the design and releasing the design data package in to the configuration management tool.
