As a highly skilled PowerBI Developer at Flix with a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and data preparation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as utilizing Alteryx for data blending and transformation.
About the Role
- Develop and implement Power BI solutions to deliver actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to create user-friendly dashboards.
- Utilize Alteryx for data preparation and transformation, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (Snowflake, databases, APIs, flat files) for comprehensive dashboards.
- Optimize data models with DAX and Power Query, enhancing performance and user experience.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance, managing Power BI projects from concept to deployment.
- Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for Power BI and Alteryx while staying updated on industry best practices.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent work experience and/or education.
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization (certification preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Alteryx for data preparation and analytics (certification preferred).
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query & data modeling in Power BI.
- Experience with Snowflake and SQL related databases for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
