Acara Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client, a manufacturing company in New Richmond, WI.

Type: project based up to 8 weeks with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and company needs

Hourly rate: Up to 35/HR

Schedule: 100% onsite, Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM

The ideal candidate will support the finance department by performing day-to-day tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and post customer payments and invoices
• Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances
• Match, code, and enter vendor invoices
• Prepare and process check runs and ACH payments
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Communicate with internal departments and external vendors/customers
• Perform other clerical and accounting duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle or ERP systems)
