The Sensor Power and Analog Design Department (SPAD) is searching for an experienced Principal Engineer to serve as the Lower Tier Air & Missile Defense (LTAMDS) Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Test Execution Lead. The LTAMDS program is a multiple year, multiple customer program that will be ramping up in production over the next five years. The LRU Test Execution Lead will develop multiple year array hardware test strategy and development road map. Reporting directly the Array IPT lead, they will manage activity from various stakeholders in supporting factory test planning and implementation. The work will involve support in the IADC and Pelham facilities as well as suppliers (as needed). CONUS And OCONUS travel will be required under 10% of the time. This role involves understanding of EVMS and MS project planning. This role involves cross functional collaboration and basic understanding of module level design, Power and RF test, Near Field Range & Far Field range testing.
Successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven project organization and execution skills, multi-tasking and verbal/written communication and presentation skills, and experience in a budget and schedule critical environment. Candidates should lead multi-discipline teams to manage the development of test systems from concept through integration and production and develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of large scope and complexity. A candidate willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues. Qualified candidates must have experience with digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred. The role can be based in Andover or Tewksbury MA.
The candidate would join the Sensor Power and Analog Design Department. The department is focused on leading electrical design, development, and hardware integration and testing of analog electronics, power electronics, power systems, and/or control systems for some of the most innovative land-based, mobile, and shipboard radars in the world.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
