Ericsson Estonia Product Technology department is looking for an experienced Radio Product Engineer to join our Product Technology team at the NPI Supply site in Tallinn.

In this role you will be taking active part of new product introduction (NPI) projects for worldwide markets and product verifications while following the quality and performance requirements to enhance the power of mobile connectivity.

We are a multicultural and collaborative team of 20+ Product Engineers with exceptional RF products knowledge and expertise. The key deliverable of this Product Engineer role is to ensure our radio products meet the quality and performance requirements during NPI phase.

This is a full time site based position at our supply site Tallinn, Estonia.

What you will do

  • Ensure our products meet quality and performance requirements during NPI
  • Participating proactively in NPI projects and product verifications to ensure the quality and performance requirements are met
  • Conducting product functionality and failures related analyses
  • Drive corrective actions according to root cause analysis
  • Provide product knowledge competence trainings for other tech departments
  • Approve and handle product functionality sensitive systems, documents
  • Projects related product start-up performance analyses and documents
  • Analyse and figure out critical faults using statistical tools
  • Drive claim analyses, communicating with PDU and driving improvements
  • Developing CLAIM/Repair flows during NPI phase and in maintenance
  • Developing and releasing Troubleshooting Systems
  • Supporting onsite lab investigations

The skills you bring

  • Previous work experience in radio engineering or radio design
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting radio boards prototypes
  • Proficient in operating RF instruments such as; oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, power meter, etc
  • Comprehensive understanding of electronic circuits and technology
  • Capability to conduct basic electronic troubleshooting, especially with delineating problems between test, software, and hardware
  • Proficient in English

Please note, this role is based at Supply site in Tallinn, to be considered for the role you either reside in Estonia or you are willing to relocate to Estonia.
