We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer (Senior Web Developer) to join our empowered product team and contribute to our robot software product, PolyScope X. In this role, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless and engaging user experiences. We are looking for a Senior Web Developer who thrives in ambiguity, has a strong human-centered design approach, and a desire to learn and collaborate cross-functionally. A growth mindset and positive attitude are also skills we value. The Senior Software Engineer (Senior Web Developer) will join our global R&D organization with 200+ talented and passionate colleagues. The primary responsibilities in the role will be to:

• Continuously improve, design, and innovate on our robot software.
• Collaborate closely with the whole product team, UX/UI and Product Designers on all stages in the software development process (ideation, concept development, validation, wireframing, prototyping, code review, final visual design, quality assurance etc.).
• Adhere to the lean and agile development process. Be part of the customer engagement, have the willingness to make product specific decisions as a team and be an active part of the overall product development process.
• Contribute to an engaging, motivating, positive and dynamic work atmosphere.

• 5+ years of web development experience
• Angular 18+
• REST API integration
• CSS or SASS/SCSS
• Responsive web design, i.e., Grid, Flex or similar
• Automated testing through Cypress, unit testing using Karma, Jest or Jasmine
• Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Proficient in using Git for branching, merging, and pull request
• Lean and/or agile development in teams
• Working with Europe counterpart engineering teams
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English

Bonus Points For

• Experience with robot applications, such as:
  • Developing user interfaces for controlling or monitoring robotic systems
  • Integrating with robotics middleware (e.g., ROS/ROS2) or WebSocket-based data streams.
  • Designing intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMI) for robotic workflows
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Storybook, Figma integration).
• Backend web development in JAVA
