This part-time, 10-month (August–May), 29-hour/week position supports the daily operations of Grand Valley State University’s Esports Program. The coordinator manages the Laker Esports Center and broadcast studio, supervises student employees, and collaborates with the Esports Club to maintain a structured and engaging environment for both casual and competitive gamers. This position plays a key role in fostering a vibrant and safe gaming community while ensuring operational efficiency, quality streaming production, and strong student engagement.
There is an opportunity for additional summer work through the coordination of esports camps, clinics, and fundraising events, which may provide supplemental income and support long-term program growth.
Compensation
This position is a non-benefit eligible, part-time role paid bi-weekly with an anticipated range of $26,000–$30,000 for 10 months (August–May), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
