We are currently seeking a Coord - Global Distribution to join our Global Distribution team based in our Santa Monica, CA location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative duties, including rolling calls, scheduling meetings, booking travel and processing expenses
  • Assist executives with the creation and completion of various team documents, agendas, and presentations
  • Research and analyse local markets and services to identify client needs, new international sales opportunities, partnerships, etc
  • Develop understanding of trends and embrace new technologies to generate more creative sale strategies and optimize sales
  • Maintain various tracking grids and schedules for the Sales Team
  • Join sales calls and pitches
  • Work closely and collaboratively with AMC departments to document and manage rights availability and evaluate sales opportunities against key internal programming priorities and revenue goals
  • Support Sales Team by maintaining key content licensing contacts across various territories
  • Passionately represent AMC content to potential buyers at international markets, sales events, etc
  • Assist with the building and maintenance of meaningful relationships with key clients, develop a thorough understanding of key partner programming needs, finding the best, highest-value home for each title in each territory

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years of experience, preferably in a creative industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong organization skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Sharp eye for detail
  • An understanding of entertainment industry rights, and both existing and emerging business models (broadcast TV, SVOD, AVOD, FAST, etc.) is a bonus
  • Drive and tenacity to open doors and build lasting sales relationships
  • Exceptional work ethic – a commitment to delivery and achievement, and getting things done, with the ability to work long and flexible hours when required
  • Team Player – builds strong working relationships with colleagues and teammates, both inside the Content Sales team and across other AMC Networks departments
  • Reputation for conducting business with the highest standards of integrity and ethics
  • Ability to travel when required, particularly for sales meetings, content markets, industry trade shows/events and, if applicable, AMC networks office locations
  • Languages are a bonus

The base compensation range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
