Job Summary
The TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program identifies and supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. As an early intervention initiative, ETS helps low-income and first-generation youth navigate their educational journey by providing academic guidance, college application support, and up-to-date information on scholarships and financial aid.
About the Role
The TRIO ETS Program Coordinator plays a key role in developing and implementing academic preparation services for 9th–12th grade students. With a strong background in K-14 academic preparation, the Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and managing day-to-day TRIO services at their assigned school site. They also work closely with their supervisor to ensure compliance with federal guidelines while addressing student needs and advancing grant objectives.

Location & Schedule
This position is 100% on-site at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, CA, with occasional work at UCSF’s Mission Center. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $65,600 - $98,400 (Annual Rate).

The Educational Talent Search Program is housed in UCSF’s Center for Science, Education, and Outreach (CSEO), which is a department within the Office of Diversity and Outreach. Since 1999, CSEO has provided programs and services to K-20 communities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area that lead to student academic success, increased college-going rates, and exploration of careers in health and STEM.
