Job Summary:

Acrisure is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Audit Senior Manager to build our Internal Audit function’s Audit Practices where you will help teach, challenge, and elevate the work of Audit. The Practices Senior Manager will help and support the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) build and manage the function’s operations, quality, and standards, regulatory relations, reporting, training and professional development, and key internal capabilities and technologies. It will be critical for this role to foster strong working relationships to influence the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop/enhance Internal Audit’s (IA) methodology, P&Ps and SOX manuals and act as SME on audit methodology requirements
  • Maintain a proficient understanding of the IIA Global International Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor industry audit hot topics, audit practices trends, and emerging audit risks within the department to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive strategic direction.
  • Develop IA's quality assurance program
  • Prepare and administer reporting and/or external request reporting (e.g. coordination of examiners requests, Audit Committee package, etc.).
  • Establish, track/monitor and report on IA's KPIs
  • Partner with Audit Analytics and Technology teams to support methodology alignment of our data analytics/automation techniques in performing audits

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in auditing, risk management, a similar role, or a combination
  • At least 3 years of project management experience or at least 3 years of experience overseeing audit engagements
  • At least 3 years of experience in people management
  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in internal or external auditing or risk management, or a combination
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services
  • 3+ years of experience performing industry research or data analysis in support of internal auditing
  • 3+ years of experience in people management

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
