The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an AWS Application Engineer! As an engineer, you are intended to provide senior experience and leadership for this specific project that facilitates user support and project migration into the AWS cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop or recommend guidance or measures for cloud-based solutions that ensure compliance with Government security and regulatory requirements such as NIST SP 800-53 security controls
  • Collaborate with cloud-focused teams across various organizations to design, test, and implement secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.
  • Facilitate the creation of procedures and cybersecurity guidance for migrations from legacy cloud environments or hardware environments into AWS
  • Evaluate cloud security technologies and common services and make recommendations for their use

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Proficiency in AWS, Python, Node.JS, YAML and JSON
  • Education:
  • 12 years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED
  • 10 years minimum experience and an Associate’s Degree
  • 8 years minimum experience and a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6 years minimum experience and a Master’s Degree
  • 4 years minimum experience and a Doctorate’s Degree
  • All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institution
