Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Embedded Software Development Engineer - Flight Controls - Entry-level developer (m/f) to join our Avionics Software department based in Toulouse, France.

Avionics Software department is part of Avionics and Simulation products engineering domain. This department is an in-house supplier of avionics equipment and simulators. Engineers in this area are responsible for the design, development, production and support of critical on-board products (e.g. flight controls, flight alerting, communication, maintenance equipment) for all Airbus aircraft.

This organization is also Chamber of Reference on Software and Electronics thanks to accomplished and experienced teams. The scope of activities also extends to other Airbus divisions and partners in some cases.

Main missions

Within the Aircraft Flight controls & monitoring team, you will be in charge of the following activities, on several flight control computers for all Airbus programs:

• Ensure technical interface between major customers (aircraft system, product design, tests center, support...) and various competence centers (hardware, software, methods & quality) to design a certifiable software product, compliant with the required needs and the airworthiness rules.
• Ensure software development following the V cycle (from specifications to integration/validation) in an environment with industrial and certification constraints (DO178, DAL A to D software, DO330).
• Ensure in-service support to our internal and external customers : technical investigations on real Flight Control products, improvements/software optimization...
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the Department performance

You will also participate in some software Chamber of Reference activities such as assessments of Airbus equipment suppliers.

You will report to a manager accountable for set of avionics software products inside an agile organization with dynamic role assignments

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Software skills: Operating system, Computers architecture, Processors architecture
• Critical Real-Time embedded software development
• Certification for embedded software (DO178-C, DAL-A to DAL D, DO330)
• Programming languages: C in embedded context
• Software engineering methods and tools (standard DEVOPS environment)

Follow skills would be additional assets:

• V cycle development process: specification, architecture, design, coding, integration, verification, support

An advanced level of English and French is required.

Ingénieur Développement Logiciel Embarqué - Commandes de vol (Débutant) (m/f)

Job Description

Airbus Commercial recherche un ingénieur Développement Logiciel Embarqué - Commandes de vol (Débutant) à Toulouse. Vous rejoindrez le département “Avionics Software” dans le domaine d'ingénierie Avionics and Simulation products.

Cette entité est l’équipementier interne pour les produits avioniques et de simulation. Les ingénieurs dans ce domaine sont responsables du design, du développement, de la production et du support de produits critiques embarqués (Commandes de Vol, Système d’alerte, Communication, Maintenance) pour tous les programmes avion Airbus.

Cette entité est également “Chambre de Référence” en logiciel et électronique grâce à des équipes aguerries et expérimentées. Le champ d’activités s’étend à d’autres divisions d’Airbus et d’autres partenaires dans certains cas.

Main missions

Si vous êtes retenu sur ce poste, vous intégrerez l’équipe Aircraft Flight controls & monitoring. Vous serez en charge d’effectuer les activités suivantes sur différents programmes avion:

• Vous assurerez les interfaces techniques avec les clients (système avion, design produit, tests, supports) et les différents centres de compétences (electronique, logiciel, méthodes et outils, qualité) pour développer un logiciel software certifié, conforme aux besoins et aux règles de certification.
• Vous participerez au développement de logiciels embarqués temps réel, en suivant le cycle complet de développement, de l’analyse de spécifications à la validation avec l’équipement final dans un environnement contraint industriellement et par les règles de certification (DO178B and C, DAL A to D software, DO330)
• Vous assurerez les activités de support en service pour nos clients internes et externes (investigation technique sur le produit réel, amélioration/optimisation du logiciel…)
• Vous participerez à améliorer la performance du département

Dans le cadre de la Chambre de Référence, vous contribuerez également à des activités telles que l’évaluation des équipementiers, fournisseurs d’Airbus.

Vous sera rattaché à un manager responsable d’un set de produits avionics au sein d’une organisation agile et dynamique.

Required skills

En terme de compétence, vous aurez une expérience:

• Compétence Logiciels : Operating System, Architecture Calculateurs & Processors
• Développement de logiciels de systèmes critiques embarqués temps réel
• Certification pour logiciels embarqués (DO178-C, DAL-A to DAL D, DO330)
• Langage de programmation: C dans un context de logiciel embarqué
• Méthode et outils d’ingénierie logiciel (environnement DEVOPS)

Les compétences suivantes seraient un atout additionnel:

• Process de développement du cycle en V : spécification, architecture, design, code, integration, vérification et support

Un niveau avancé en Anglais et Français est requis.

Vous serez ouverts d’esprit et curieux, vous aurez une bonne communication et apprécierez de travailler en équipe. Vous êtes connus pour avoir un bon esprit d’équipe et d’excellentes compétences interpersonnelles.
