We are looking for an applications engineer that is highly motivated to develop and integrate innovative bench validation methodologies for our wireless power module ICs to ensure the successful launch of high quality bug free ICs that enable excellent user experience. You would also work in partnership with multi-discipline teams including FW, architecture, system EE, Product Designers, and IC vendors to ensure smooth integration of our ASICs. In this position, you will be expected to develop a high-quality comprehensive ASIC test plan, design ASIC evaluation boards, develop ASIC test automation scripts, execute bench validations, present thoughtful and distilled results to cross functional teams, and ensure our IC vendors execute high quality validation. You will also be responsible for supporting FW teams, silicon/system architecture/design teams, and factory test teams integrate ASICs into various Apple products. Integration support includes but is not limited to running bench experiments, debugging silicon related issues, reviewing system board design, IC failure analysis and reviewing/testing FW implementations.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
