Job Summary:
The Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) for the Department of Immunology and Microbiology coordinates policies and procedures and oversees the implementation of research and administrative programs within Department of Immunology and Microbiology. The DFA oversees and has authority over all administrative functions including finance, grants and contracts, human resources, procurement, faculty affairs, information technology and services, official functions, asset and space planning, and day-to-day operations. The DFA represents the department within the School of Medicine and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Work Location:
Onsite/Hybrid – This role is an onsite position with potential for hybrid. The DFA is anticipated to be onsite at least three days per week, with the option of up to 2 days per week remote (if desired). It is anticipated that there will a regular cadence/schedule that will be jointly established by the Department Chair and the finalist that will be flexible and negotiable based on the department and the finalist’s needs.

To complement our basic studies on molecular and cellular mechanisms, we aim to collaborate with our clinical colleagues on the CU Anschutz Medical campus to apply our research expertise into investigations of infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, tumor immunology, primary immunodeficiencies, and chronic inflammatory conditions. Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
$100,000-$130,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
