What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney seeks a motivated and detail-oriented engineer to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities as part of the Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) organization. The EDSI organization is a multi-functional group that provides system level engineering solutions to meet customer requirements. The MBSE discipline follows a methodological approach to support the development of complex systems through the requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation phases.

• Support requirement management, systems, and design integration activities.
• Candidates should have successfully demonstrated analytical and mathematical modeling skills to solve problems and the ability to work at an implementation level.
• Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
• Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company and travel up to 10%.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree within Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of Thermodynamics, Fluids Mechanics.
• Experience with agile development methods.
• Knowledge of gas turbine engines.
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB or VBA programming.
• Experience in Model Based System Engineering.
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent software, Magic Grid, DoDAF, UAF, etc.
