POSITION DUTIES
Interested in working in beautiful downtown Annapolis steps away from the historic district, the United States Naval Academy, the Maryland State House (the oldest state house in continuous legislative use in the nation)? The Taxpayer Services Division is looking for a Program Manager Senior II to join our team. The successful candidate should possess a blend of leadership, management, communication and analytical skills. Also, the ideal candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities, adaptability and an understanding of strategic planning. This position is to direct the operations of the Branch Operations Section of the Taxpayer Services Division (TSD). This position reports to the Director for planning, development, direction and control of the Division’s policies, programs and budget. This position will perform duties assigned by the Director in her absence. This position is considered one of the agency’s essential emergency personnel and is to ensure there is adequate staffing during normal work hours, to ensure outstanding customer service and is available during emergency conditions.�\r\n\r\n\r\nPLEASE NOTE: Must be willing and able to work Monday through Friday in a full-time capacity in the Taxpayer Services Division's Annapolis Call Center. Required hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Leave may be limited during certain times of the year due to high volume events, projects, or special assignments. Evening and weekend work may be required especially during peak times of the year. Employees are unable to prepare tax returns outside of the requirements of the job or work for private accounting services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
\r\n\r\n Five years of experience in customer service,\r\n Five years of tax administration,\r\n Three years of management experience in a supervisory role, AND\r\n Three years of experience managing remote work locations.\r\n\r\n\r\n
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\r\n\r\n Bachelors' Degree from an accredited college or university.\r\n Experience producing metric reports.\r\n\r\n\r\n
