Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of post silicon verification and characterization tests to ensure a complete and systematic verification / characterization for new automotive Motor Control ICs and Gate Drivers
  • Plan the post silicon verification activities and develop innovative verification and analysis methods
  • Define and develop automated solutions for system verification in close collaboration with the team
  • Solve technical problems and the execute verification tests to assess new silicon together with application, concept, design and test engineers
  • Review and release verification concepts and specifications for new ICs during the development process in cooperation with the team
  • Provide post silicon verification reports as basis for customer communication
  • Provide conclusive analysis on technical issues as well as verification requests from internal and external customers

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in post-silicon component verification of mixed signal power circuits
  • Good knowledge of measurement technologies and methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of high-power mixed signal semiconductor devices, applications and physics
  • Programming skills in VBA and MATLAB for control of instruments (PXI, power supply, oscilloscope, signal generators)
  • Ideally some experience with design, assembly, test and debugging of discrete power circuit boards
  • Fluent English communication skills
