We are looking to grow our team with a full stack engineer with interest in Design Systems.

Our democracies depend on independent journalism. At Schibsted, we provide the technology behind some of the leading media brands in the Nordics - products that reach millions of people every day.

The User Identity team builds essential services like login, account management, and consent handling, enabling our users to engage safely and meaningfully across all Schibsted platforms.

We're growing, and we’re especially eager to bring in new perspectives that reflect our broad audience.

What we do:

We’re a cross-functional, product-focused team with end-to-end ownership of key user identity services. You’ll work with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve meaningful problems, ranging from compliance and privacy to UX and performance. We work collaboratively with pairing, code reviews, and async-friendly rituals

• We dedicate 10% of our time (every second Friday) to learning, experimenting, or sharing knowledge
• We take part in company-wide hackathons and contribute to internal learning communities
• We aim to follow Agile principles in a way that supports our team autonomy

Our Tech stack:

We mostly use JavaScript / TypeScript in our products, with Node, React and Github Actions, we leverage AWS services (MKS, Lambda, SNS / SQS). We use tools like Figma and Storybook to manage our designs.

About you:

We are now looking for a full stack developer who has solid experience in frontend development and has a passion for Design Systems.

• You have a deep knowledge of JavaScript (React, Node.js, TypeScript)
• You have experience in Design tools (Figma, Storybook)
• You have a solid knowledge of optimization of user interface performance and responsiveness
• You have experience or interest in establishing and maintaining Design Systems
• You have a good understanding of the concepts of and/or experience with continuous deployment, integration and unit tests, documentation and GitHub.
