As a Senior Engineer for Audio System Application, you will design and program audio system solutions and support our customers with software and hardware designs. Being part of our technical marketing team of sensor experts, your work will promote Infineon’s world leading MEMS microphone technology and thus inspire new trends in consumer electronics.

In your new role you will:

• Be responsible for system level measurements on latest sensor and software solutions for innovative audio applications
• Steer the realization of new sensor and audio system-solutions through demonstrators, evaluation boards or reference designs
• Closely engage with our customers and drive joint audio system innovation projects
• Contribute to the technical content creation for the proposed reference designs
• Be diplomatic, give technical guidance and resolve complex technical issues together with the team
• Apply state-of-the-art signal processing techniques to unlock new solutions for consumer applications

You are passionate about the latest electronics devices and trends and feel comfortable to engage in deep technical discussions. Furthermore, you strive for high SW quality in your daily work. Above all, you are a team player and like to cooperate across boundaries in an exciting international environment.

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

• A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• At least 1-3 years of experience in sensor system solutions preferably consumer applications
• Affinity for advanced audio applications and signal processing
• Basic knowledge in developing and testing HW interfaces (e.g. I2C, I3C, SPI and UART)
• Applied software development skills (C/C++, Python) as well as common build systems (e.g. CMake, Conan) and tools (e.g. Git, Gitlab, Jenkins)
• Very good communication skills with a customer-oriented attitude
• Fluent English skills
