Job Description:
- Lead key logistics projects such as RFP/RFQ execution, rate negotiations, lead time optimisation, new route or service launches, rate card design, and P&L impact studies to identify the most cost-effective logistics options
- Analyse and manage logistics cost structure with clear understanding of business impact, and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce overall expenses
- Optimise end-to-end cross-border logistics operations including first mile, transit warehouse, international linehaul, B2B and B2C import customs clearance, and last mile delivery
- Manage Korea and Japan 3PL vendors by setting clear SOPs, ensuring SLA/KPI performance, driving vendor strategy, and leading system integration or automation projects
- Identify operational bottlenecks through data analysis, design process improvement plans, and lead implementation to reduce lead time and enhance overall logistics efficiency
- Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure operational readiness by effectively communicating and cascading new logistics processes and policies to both internal teams and external partners
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in global logistics or supply chain management, with hands-on experience in both air and ocean freight
- Solid exposure to cross-border ecommerce and B2C logistics flows is strongly preferred
- Expert in export and import process ex Korea to Southeast Asia markets, with a focus on lead time and improving cost economics
- Strong project ownership mindset and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with stellar stakeholder management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from data
- Proficiency in verbal/ written English to facilitate dynamic collaboration with stakeholders across the region, supported by strong communication skills
- A proactive and self-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
