Our client is looking for a Financial and System Analyst for a 6-month period.

Support stable and efficient operations for the company’s global financial consolidation and reporting application (TAGETIK-consolidation Tool). This position works to improve understanding of key business drivers and maximize results within the country/segments/markets. The Analyst works closely with, and in support of, the Manager of consolidation and internal or external reporting.

About the Opportunity

  • Tagetik Support:
  • Troubleshooting issues, providing solutions, and ensuring smooth operation of the software for Tagetik reports.
  • Implementation Assistance: Helping internal, external and business teams to develop Tagetik reports
  • Training and Documentation: Educating users on the Tagetik's functionalities and creating user guides or manuals.
  • Integration: Ensuring Tagetik integrates seamlessly with other systems and data sources.
  • Enhancements: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing updates or new features. Integral Part of the Finance team, participate in designing and implementing CCH Tagetik reporting solution to meet external and internal management reporting requirements.
  • Account Reconciliations & Variance Analysis: Analyzing and reconciling financial results. Performing variance analysis and account reviews to make sure balances are in line with expectations. Developing commentary to explain major variances.
  • Reporting Analytics and Compliance - Collaborating and monitoring with various reporting system owners to ensure proper account mapping, HARP compliance and reporting views are established. Systems include SAP ECC, SAP FC, Tagetik, QlikView and (SAC) SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Process Improvement - Continuously reviewing for process improvement. Utilizing reporting tools to make processes efficient. (i.e. developing a report in a system to automate the delivery)
  • Accounting Standards Compliance - Assisting in ensuring compliance and implementation of accounting standards (i.e. IFRS standards, US GAAP).
  • Relationship with Others
  • Actively working with segment analysts, FP&A manager, financial directors and CFO.
  • Collaborating with shared services (ABS & ADC), department directors/managers (i.e. Treasury, Tax)

About You

  • Accounting, Finance, Business or Computer Science - IT engineering related bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3 - 5 years professional experience required
  • Enrollment in a Professional accounting program (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA) preferred
  • SAP FC/SAP ECC/BPC experience an asset
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Advanced MS Excel and Access skills for reporting and data analysis
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills for presentation to senior management
  • Experience working with Google Suite(Google Sheets and Google Slides)
  • In depth systems knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills- verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability in financial/system analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Business Intelligence skills
  • IFRS knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task

Pay Rate

$45/Hour
