YOUR ROLE

Power & Energy Competence Center (PECC) provides comprehensive application-based solutions that meet their clients' specific needs. PECC takes a holistic approach to problem-solving instead of offering individual components.

This means developing a complete solution like a SMPS for servers with PFC and LLC using ST components. By delivering complete solutions, PECC adds more value to it's clients and helps them achieve their objectives more efficiently.

  1. solution development to meet the requirements from customers
  2. to test the evaluation boards and prepare the technical reports based on the findings
  3. to assist with the problem-solving during the board verification: analyze the root cause of the problem / find the proper and best solution for the problem / verify the solution / create the analysis report
  4. to visit customer for the problem solving or technical meeting
  5. general jobs in PECC
  6. to assist the admin. jobs such as searching and purchasing components from suppliers like MOUSER
  • . 1)~4) : over than 95% jobs , 5)~6): less than 5%

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Required

  • BS in electronics engineering or equivalent
  • knowledge of power electronics and power conversion
    • topologies of power conversion such as buck, boost, flyback, PFC, LLC, etc.
    • components: MOSFET, transistor, OP-amp, R/L/C, etc.
  • proficient in spoken/written English
  • self-motivated with a willingness to continually learn and improve

Preferred

  • skilled in simulation tools such as PSIM, SIMPLIS, SIMetrix, etc.
  • experience in handling test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, power meter, etc.)
  • experience in MCU design (FW)
  • experience in Industry-University cooperation projects
