As part of the AI Incubations team, a Technical Program Manager (TPM) plays a critical role in aligning priorities from various strategic customers, collaborating with cross-functional product teams, and driving end-to-end execution of complex projects. This TPM will design, coordinate, and execute technical solutions that have huge impact to our customer experience and scalability. Understanding various cloud technologies and technical trade-offs, the ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator, both written and verbally, have a well-rounded technical background, and come with a history of leading large-scale projects end-to-end. We are specifically looking for a hands-on, Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services teams to drive mission critical programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, manage, and execute 3rd party licensing program.
  • Act as the single-threaded leader of licensing deal flow; managing 3rd party relationships and orchestrating a successful pipeline of new product features.
  • Create reusable templates, frameworks, and materials to streamline the launch of product features and maintain consistent product messaging to customers.
  • Lead interactions with cross functional teams consisting of outbound product managers, engineers, inbound product managers and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, legal, and finance to accelerate time to market and successful launch.
  • Foster relationships with ecosystem partners and field enablement teams to enhance adoption and increase market reach.
  • Background in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Services, Compute, Data services and/or distributed systems is highly preferred.
  • Take large, complex projects, break them down into manageable pieces, build detailed project schedules, then drive the delivery in a successful and timely manner.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Be a passionate advocate for the customer; understand and articulate customer needs, leverage internal knowledge and expertise and external market research, and prioritize requirements
  • Identify specific problems, adoption drivers, value propositions, and solutions.
  • Focus on determining what key reference customers want, problem solve, deliver the key features/products they want.
  • Run programs and analytics to determine what is working vs. what is not.
  • Drive the technical direction, product vision, roadmap, and execution across multiple product teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • 7+ years of program management experience preferably with could services or with compute services
  • The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
