A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an

Embedded Software Engineer

Position Type: Full Time (Contract)

Duration: 12 months

Location: Northridge CA

As an Engineer Embedded Software, you will:

• support our SiAW program who with the desire to learn new technologies to join our innovative teams to help develop, enhance, and maintain software on cutting edge products and systems.
• Candidates will work on software system efforts for the Software Development Team on the SiAW program.
• This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL).
• Successful candidate will have the qualities and essential functional expertise to:
• Design and develop Embedded software,
• Design and documentation of software applications
• Test and evaluation, simulation of applicable software applications

The ideal candidate will have:

Active secret clearance prior to the start.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related engineering experience.
• Previous experience working as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum or Kanban
• Proficiency in using Jira for tracking tickets, helping manage the product backlog, and facilitating Agile workflows.
• Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience in embedded real-time software development, with a focus on embedded C++ and VxWorks.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $30 to $39 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
