JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources Employee & Labor Relations team in various capacities. The Coordinator is responsible for file maintenance; creating new hire folders and maintaining current employee files (personal, confidential and I-9) Filing, auditing and checking all I-9 documents for 100% compliance, pulling all term files and processing appropriately. The coordinator maintains files of all employees who are currently on FMLA or are filing a request for FMLA. Tracks union grievances received and coordinates and maintains grievance files prior to the grievance meetings. Performs all clerical duties associated with the Boards of Review and helps coordinate the Board of Review elections on a yearly basis. Coordinates the paperwork associated with unemployment claims and acts as a liaison between TALX and the Management staff prior to the unemployment hearings. Assists with HR front counter duties, file room maintenance, badging, gaming registration and other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, sensitive and confidential situations relating to team members, in a timely manner. Must be able to work independently. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and twist in the work area. Respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to maneuver around property to pick up and deliver various paperwork. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Repetitive data entry and typing throughout the work shift. Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, typewriter, copier and fax machine. Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke.
