SUMMARY
This position will have global/regional/local responsibilities for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies ensuring lowest Total Cost and overall Best Value for the organization. Reducing working capital and inventory by negotiation planning and execution. Utilize Strategic Sourcing and Value Engineering for sole and single sourced supply base elimination. You will manage Supplier Relationships including supplier performance to support the commodity/category and/or business to ensure supply continuity.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in business, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of Procurement experience
4+ years Team Lead/Supervisory experience
Desired Education/Experience
5+ years in Strategic Sourcing is preferred, but not required.
Certificates and Licenses
Certification of Professional Supply Chain Management is preferred but not required.
Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred but not required

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is exposed to a normal office environment and occasionally required to walk through a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and peripheral vision.
Working Conditions
Professional office environment and occasional time spent in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in required locations including but limited to eyes, ears, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
