Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst with a specialized focus on printers and label printing technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining our printing systems to ensure seamless operations. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, optimizing printing processes, and ensuring the efficient functioning of label printing solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Analysis and Design: Evaluate current printing and label printing systems, identify areas for improvement, and design optimized solutions.
  • Implementation and Integration: Implement new printing systems and integrate them with the existing IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to printers and label printing equipment.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and updates of printing systems to ensure reliable performance.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to enhance printing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of printing systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on the use of printing and label printing systems.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure all printing systems comply with the organization’s security policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Remain as an active student at the University during the time of the professional practice, that is, the next 12 months.
  • Advanced English (B2)
  • Availability from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm or from 7:00am to 4:00pm in Coyol, Alajuela.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting various printer models and label printing equipment.
  • Experience with printing software and management tools.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and printer connectivity.
  • Familiarity with barcode and label printing standards.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Essential organizational skills with attention to detail.

Interns will have a financial subsidy of ¢ 400,000 per month.
