What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for technical development, implementation, administration, and support of integrations with the Salesforce Platform.
- Convert system requirements into logical program designs, code modules, and stable application systems.
- Participate in the development and deployment of new features to support business initiatives, playing a leading role in the design of new/improved interfaces and functions within the platform.
- Participate in peer code review and pair programming sessions.
- Help architect efficient and scalable software solutions for business application platforms.
- Develop technical design documents for software solutions independently.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (Agile), including requirement analysis, design and implementation, estimations, and iterative development aspects.
- Perform unit, integration, and system level testing and develop any necessary supporting documentation.
- Report status to development management and project/systems management.
- Develop specification documents outlining technical requirements with associated solutions.
- Provide technical support for maintenance of existing applications.
- Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flow.
- Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce integrations and customizations.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices.
- Drive continuous improvements in Salesforce development processes, automation, and DevOps pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex Salesforce production issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security policies and governance standards.
- Document technical designs and maintain internal knowledge repositories.
What you have
- 5+ years’ experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical expertise and knowledge of software and application development.
- Strong knowledge and experience of object-oriented methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing strategies is a strong plus.
- Documentation of designs, installations, and technical administrative procedures.
- Software development lifecycle methodologies and discipline.
- Ability to maintain professional business relationships and effectively lead, triage, prioritize, and resolve issues that arise in unpredicted situations.
- Proficiency in a variety of programming-related technologies and tools including Java, Apex, etc.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
What will make you stand out
- One of the following certifications: Salesforce System Architect, Salesforce Application Architect, or Salesforce Technical Architect.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or higher.
- Experience with Salesforce Community or Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Experience with the financing industry.
- Experience programming in Java and using the Spring framework.
- Experience leading Salesforce development teams or projects.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps tools.
- Expertise in Salesforce data migration and ETL tools.
- Knowledge of additional Salesforce clouds such as Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with automation frameworks and unit testing best practices.
