About the Role:

As a Production Manager IV, you will play a pivotal role in directing and managing operations staff and production activities, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to quality standards. Reporting to the Director of Operations or site head, you will oversee daily operational standards, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of excellence within the production team.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the attainment of daily operational standards, facilitating accurate and timely service delivery to customers while maintaining quality benchmarks.
  • Optimize staffing levels across operational areas to enhance productivity and meet service demands effectively.
  • Engage with customers to address delivery-related concerns, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Champion Lean principles and goals, ensuring their integration into operational processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support company mandates and changes, overseeing their implementation and compliance within the production environment.
  • Supervise quality systems for new production setups, guaranteeing adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data related to quality, efficiency, equipment utilization, and staffing levels, proposing and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive staff training to adapt to evolving procedures and processes, fostering skill enhancement and proficiency.
  • Conduct training sessions for external stakeholders, including customers and corporate personnel, as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal staff training sessions to bolster competencies and knowledge base.
  • Monitor safety and security policies to ensure regulatory compliance, promptly addressing any work-related incidents or concerns.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, interviewing, screening, and selecting production staff, and providing ongoing coaching and guidance.
  • Interpret and communicate policies and procedures in accordance with established guidelines, fostering clarity and understanding among team members.
  • Maintain accurate and timely payroll, time, and attendance records for production staff, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment, fostering strong employee relations and promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Drive safety awareness initiatives, implementing robust safety protocols to reinforce positive team behaviors and achieve safety objectives.
  • Uphold security and privacy policies, ensuring their dissemination and application to safeguard company and customer informational assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in operations management, preferably within a production or processing environment, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of effectively engaging and motivating staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Lean principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience in implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Thorough understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements applicable to production operations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications used in operations management.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of leveraging data to drive decision-making and process enhancements.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Proven experience in employee training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.

The Printing Machine Operator IV is responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. They play a vital role in the printing process, ensuring that all printed products meet the required standards and specifications. Accuracy, Computer literacy, English speaking, Troubleshooting, Technical skills, Preventive maintenance, Quality control, eye for detail.
