Position Overview:

The Sr. Manager of FP&A will build robust forecasting, planning, analysis and budgeting processes for the company.

Desired outcomes/Principal Duties:

  • Lead regular budgeting and forecasting processes and help with long-term projections for multiple brands and product lines
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Financial Analysts
  • Work with management to plan capital expenditures including ROIs
  • Support translating the impact of new product initiatives into a financial framework
  • Review key metrics across brands, products, and processes
  • Come up with projects for analysts. Assign, manage, and ensure completion of those projects
  • Analyze trends and variances, provide insight, and work cross-departmentally to help BuildASign respond appropriately
  • Oversea preparation and review of monthly reporting packages that provide detailed financial insights
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis for cross-functional departments and management as requested

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, accounting or equivalent experience
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in finance management, preferably in manufacturing and/or ecommerce
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite)
  • This position is hybrid in Austin, TX.
