Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced materials characterization and analysis to support both Manufacturing Operations and R&D initiatives.
  • Additionally, this role requires expertise in developing and implementing automation solutions and data analytics tools to streamline lab processes and enhance data interpretation.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Process Development Teams to integrate and correlate process outputs with characterization data, fostering a holistic understanding of material behavior and performance.
  • Strong technical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively are essential for this position.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering or Physics with minimum 3-5 years of work experience
  • Master's degree in Materials Science/Engineering or Physics with minimum 1-2 years of work experience
  • Understanding of material properties, phase diagrams, and microstructural analysis, ability to connect material properties with process parameters and outcomes
  • Materials Characterization for example: SEM, TEM, EDX, AFM etc.
  • Knowledge of Microscopy and Spectroscopy

PREFERRED:

  • Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in statistical methods, including DoE and regression analysis
  • Experience in AFM is great advantage

SKILLS:

  • Capable of communicating in English
  • Satisfactory communication skills for effective teamwork and presentation
  • Problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in Python is a plus
