Project Manager (Global Engineering Projects)

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager within the Global Engineering Projects team at Honeywell UOP Ltd based in Bracknell. As a key member of the Engineering Projects team, you will use your project experience and technical knowledge to lead Basic Engineering and Fast FEED™ projects for our customers worldwide. This position is responsible for leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers, project controls, etc., driving ownership at all levels to successfully deliver designs meeting all contractual requirements within budget. The position is responsible for providing leadership, support, and guidance to team members while maintaining positive relationships with the customers. You will be an ambitious Project Manager in a visible position to interact directly with peers and leaders with the capability to multitask, solving problems and looking to forge a career within a global business.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model, with 10% global travel.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project team activities from initiation to closure, ensuring effective execution of the project plan.
• Develop and monitor project execution plans, focusing on schedule, cost, and staffing requirements while tracking performance data.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and facilitate meetings with clients and subcontractors to ensure clear communication.
• Lead a diverse team of engineers and subcontractors, driving accountability and ownership to meet contractual obligations.
• Control costs within budget, manage change orders, and oversee project documentation and close-out processes.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering required as well as industry experience with refining, petrochemical, gas processing or sustainable technologies
• Experience in engineering Projects, working in a technical capacity as an engineer, as a Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Proven in-depth engineering ability with a desire to expand knowledge and explore Honeywell UOP technologies and offerings
• Possesses strong communication skills with expertise in cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
• Experienced in construction and installation within refining, petrochemical, or gas processing plants, with a proven ability to influence and motivate others to achieve results.
