Are you passionate about electronics, diagnostics, and real-world problem-solving? Join our high-tech, high-performance engineering team working on cutting-edge automotive and industrial applications — including electric vehicles and power electronics.

As a Junior Post-Test Analysis Electronics Engineer, you’ll spend around 60% of your time in the lab, hands-on with components — disassembling, testing, and analyzing failed systems. You’ll support root cause investigations, interpret diagnostic data, and help improve product reliability.

This is a career-launching opportunity for a recent graduate eager to grow in a fast-paced, international environment.

We Are Looking for You If You…

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  • Are familiar with lab environments or test setups, and enjoy hands-on work — disassembling components, probing circuits, and uncovering what went wrong.
  • Have a basic understanding of vehicle or embedded communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or FlexRay.
  • Understand electronics fundamentals like passive components, insulation testing, and schematic interpretation.
  • Are curious about how things fail and want to dive into diagnostics, failure analysis, and root cause methodologies.
  • Possess a strong analytical mindset, pay attention to detail, and are not afraid to ask questions or dig deeper when something doesn’t add up.
  • Communicate clearly in English (spoken and written) and are comfortable working in an international team.
  • Are a team player with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Are open to occasional travel (up to 10%) and flexible enough to support investigations across different sites or teams.
  • Are passionate about automotive technology, electric vehicles, or industrial electronics — and want to build a career in a high-tech, high-performance setting.

You Will Be Responsible For…

  • Analyzing returned components and failed systems from internal tests (e.g., end-of-line, system integration, durability) and external sources (e.g., customer validation campaigns, field returns).
  • Interpreting diagnostic data such as CAN logs, oscilloscope captures, and electronic readouts to identify symptoms and potential causes of failure.
  • Performing first-level hardware investigations, including passive electrical measurements (resistance, diode testing, insulation) and visual inspections, under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Supporting root cause analysis by consolidating test results, reproducing failure conditions when possible, and contributing to technical assessments.
  • Preparing structured technical documentation, including investigation summaries, failure tracking logs, and analysis reports.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (validation, development, quality, manufacturing) to share findings and support corrective or preventive actions.
  • Participating in internal reviews and technical discussions, contributing to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Occasionally supporting investigations across multiple sites, which may involve remote coordination, shared tools, and occasional travel depending on project needs.

At Garrett you will find:

  • Talented, supportive colleagues to collaborate and grow with.
  • An open, inclusive culture that values your ideas and initiative.
  • Empowering leaders who invest in your development.
  • A friendly, collaborative work environment with global reach.
  • Projects that make a real impact in the automotive and industrial world.
  • Recognition for your contributions and opportunities to advance.
  • A great place to launch and grow your engineering career.
