Overview
The XDR capabilities of Trend Micro’s Vision One platform provide context-aware investigation, recording, and reporting of system-level activities. It collects detailed activity data from kernel mode, user mode and/or native system events across multiple security layers, including endpoints, servers, cloud workloads, emails, and networks.
XDR is composed of Workbench, OAT, Detection Models...etc, it plays as key components to visualize the detections/alerts/impact scope/indicators to solve alert fatigue issues and help security analysts to simplify the flow of investigating incidents and take corresponding mitigation responses quickly. [Responsibility]
1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Plan, build, manage, and optimize our AWS/Azure Cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to services like AWS EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure environment consistency and repeatability.
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, cost, and performance, providing recommendations for optimization.
2. CI/CD Pipeline Development & Maintenance:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Action to enable rapid and reliable application deployments.
- Drive the adoption of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) to optimize application deployment and scalability.
3. Monitoring & Alerting:
- Build and maintain comprehensive system monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms (e.g., AWS/CloudWatch, Azure/LogAnalytics, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack) to ensure system health and early detection of potential issues.
- Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
4. Automation & Scripting:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Actively seek and implement automation opportunities to streamline routine operational tasks.
5. Team Collaboration & Learning:
- Actively participate in team discussions, share knowledge and expertise, and collectively drive technical advancements.
- Continuously learn new DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to practical work.
