Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administratively managing a University department under the direction of a Program Director or Program Advising Committee, following an established program plan
  • May contribute to the development of program objectives and ensure achievement within defined University or departmental policies and procedures
  • May oversee fiscal management of grants and other funds
  • May manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach for meeting program objectives
  • May supervise staff as needed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics

UAB and/or grant experience preferred.

Salary Range: $43,890-$71,320

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.

Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
