More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Industrial Test System Engineer located in Eindhoven with Signify.

As an Industrial Test System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and deploying Automated Industrial Test Solutions as required by the Test-Measurement-Configuration Requirements, define Industrial graded and standardized way of workings in compliance with global test strategy and workmanships standards.

Specialize and be the reference engineer for specific technologies including optical light measurements, firmware flashing, project management and special solutions and new technologies as our products grow.

You will be a member of the central team with the responsibility to support globally other regions and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

  • You will be responsible for managing projects, from an NPI with a special request to a new technology integration
  • You will be responsible for the definition or requirements, capabilities & methods and guidelines for performing integrated light measurements for the OEM Business
  • You will drive synergy in testing solutions ensuring new test standards together with installed test equipment base get maximum coverage at lowest test cost per product and minimum cycle time
  • You will contribute to the Global Test Community and documentation portal by good practices, lessons learned as well inform on the challenges to seek for support from the community

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Ideally a MCs or MEng or bachelor’s degree on electronics, physics or similar.
  • Have a 5+ years of proven experience within the area of electronics manufacturing, in an engineering position
  • Demonstrated Knowledge on Light Measurement Equipment and Properties of Light, data analytics & statistical skills
  • Have excellent English communication skills as well ability to understand voice of customer and demonstrated existing/developed solutions to broader communicate
  • Independent, Self-Driven, Adaptive, Critical Thinking, Open to learn from others with an Industrial Mindset. Pragmatic, motivated test project leader willing to travel globally for global project releases
