About the Role
This role is crucial in ensuring the robust financial management of AIA’s Group and its Business Units’ Cloud and infrastructure spend. This role responsibilities include governing and managing spend to ensure cost efficiency.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support Cloud & infrastructure spend management, including consumption and cost forecast for Group Office and Business Unit.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports for project and BAU to aid management decision making
- Develop Power BI dashboard for regular reporting and automate repeatable reporting tasks.
- Support governance of Cloud & infrastructure financial KPIs.
- Support Cloud & infrastructure spend efficiency.
- Support the development of cost allocation model for one-off project cost and post-project BAU cost.
- Manage monthly cost allocation process and provide explanation in case of queries from Business Unit.
- Keep track of project benefits realisation.
- Highlight and resolve any financial risks in a timely manner.
- Fully understand, meet, and adhere to financial reporting requirements and governance processes by Group Finance
- Support preparation and appraisal of business case
- Communication with stakeholders including but not limited to local Business Units, Audit, IT, Group Finance, Human Resources, and communication at all levels within key vendors.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English to allow communication with all levels of stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis.
- Experience in managing IT spend would be preferable.
- University graduate in Accountancy, Business Administration / Finance.
- Recognised professional qualifications such as those awarded by The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), The Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) (or equivalent) will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of IT operating model design and best practices.
- Proficiency in PowerBI or Power Platform.
- Strong analytical skill and attention to detail.
