Position Summary
Support the coordination of clinical workflow and use of information technologies by the clinical staff. Utilizes the Quality Caring Model and LRH Promises to guide and role model actions and decisions. Collaborates with leadership and clinical practitioners to incorporate best clinical and technology practices to promote patient-centered, evidence-based care which optimize outcomes related to safety, quality, regulatory and financial initiatives with moderate supervision. The role of this position is to analyze and document current workflows, understand proposed changes and initiatives across the organization, and develop future state workflows which respect and recognize clinical areas with unique operating and business characteristics and constraints. The CIA serves as a translator between clinical and information technology staff and leadership. The role of the CIA is strongly invested in providing timely and pertinent identification, design, testing and implementation of changes to the technologies in which our clinical team utilizes with moderate supervision.

Standard Work Duties: Clinical Informatics Analyst
- Works collaboratively with all members of the LRH team including but not limited to Clinical Informatics team, IT analysts, Clinical practitioners and Leadership to facilitate accomplishment of organizational outcomes and priorities.
- Utilize resources to optimize complex technologies to maintain and improve patient safety, quality, and financial outcomes which support and optimize clinical efficiency and end user experience.
- Develop, document, and monitor measurements of process improvements, including those enabled by standardized workflows with moderate supervision.
- Develop, document, and lead initiatives to support change management within impacted departments across the organization.
- Identify, develop, and introduce best practice standards within the organization.
- Identify potential process-specific risks and work collaboratively to develop strategies to mitigate or resolve them.
- Work with customers to gather specifications for the purchase, development, and installation of clinical systems.
- Travel as required for business necessity.
- Assume responsibility for problem assessment and resolution. Mentors, educates, and seeks to understand barriers to assure successful adoption of new processes with minimal supervision.

Experience Essential:
- A minimum of two years in clinical informatics arena
- Previous experience with EHR implementation or support
- Minimum three years of clinical experience
- Moderate supervision as it relates to informatics competencies such as identification of enhancements, workflow assessment across the organization, design, education, implementation, and auditing.
Experience Preferred:
- Leadership role for a minimum of 2 years
- Previous experience as a clinical systems analyst or informatician
Certifications Preferred:
- Board Certification in Informatics
Licenses Essential:
- FL clinical licensure such as RN, RT, Rad Tech
