Intern WB Finance - Global Financial Reporting & Controls
Finance Wholesale Banking is looking for an intern with a curious financial mindset and a desire to learn in a dynamic and internationally oriented finance team at our CEDAR head office in Amsterdam for a period of at least 6 months.
You will be involved in Reporting, Accounting and Controls topics, for example the delivery of insightful Financial Cockpits that will provide transparency on important reporting, accounting, control and ESG topics. We’re also curious about your perspective on the internship and any assignment you would like to carry out.
The team
At Wholesale Banking Finance, the department of the Wholesale Banking CFO, we are an entrepreneurial team empowering our partner with valuable information, controls and advice. The various teams (over 50 colleagues) have global exposure supporting and challenging the business on 40 locations across the globe.
The Global Financial Reporting & Controls team, part of the Wholesale Banking CFO department, is responsible for the global oversight, challenge and coordination of financial reporting and related reporting controls within Wholesale Banking Finance.
The team is the primary and key contact for financial reporting and controls topics for the Wholesale Banking network. The team consists of 5 members, is highly agile and works mostly on project basis. Also is the team packed with knowledge and experience ready to support you on your learning journey.
Roles and responsibilities
Our team mission is to ensure the Wholesale Banking Reporting & Controls environment is best in class. Insights into the underlying drivers are fundamental for achieving this goal.
Your assignment is to create valuable insights through setting-up PowerBI dashboards and analyzing underlying data.
